The Return of the Turkey

Last season these stuffed turkeys flew off our shelves, so we decided to bring him back a little early this year! Now I know you've barely gotten your Halloween decorations down but Thanksgiving is only 6 weeks away! You'll want to get your order in for a stuffed turkey early so you can enjoy him all season!
Each turkey is handmade by me. These turkeys are life size and will look great as a centerpiece until the real bird is ready to go. They can also be used as pillows or toys.

Upcoming Fair

Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash official countdown

We're counting down to the oh-so-exciting, mother of all holiday craft fairs that we were lucky enough to sign up to participate in. It's the second annual Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash! On November 21st between 1pm & 7 pm come visit us at the Sons of Hermann Hall located at 3414 Elm St. There will be tons of cool vendors and admission is free! Get your holiday shopping done early!

Front Page feature and changes for Midnight Snack

I've been horribly neglecting you. Please forgive me, we're still in the middle of our move. We finally bought a house and moved out of that tiny apartment. I'm still shopping around for cool things to put into my new craft room and get my new workspace up and running!

Even though very few new things have come out of my studio lately, I was thrilled to see our Conversation heart pillow on the front page last week! Thanks to corrieberrypie for putting together such a lovely treasury. And I have to admit I'm quite a bit jealous of some of her own beautiful pieces. She really puts colors together very well and I was very pleased that we were chosen to round out her treasury.




I've been itching to get back into the studio and as soon as new things emerge I will put them up for all to see!

KERA Art & Seek Review

The Etsy Dallas Spring Bash went off without a hitch and Midnight Snack's first ever full fledged craft fair was a huge success! We got some great feedback, got to meet tons of great people and artists, and had a blast selling our products. Best of all, we got some awesome press.



KERA Art & Seek blogger Lydia Regalado interviewed several Etsy Dallas members for a review of the show. The review was released today and guess who nabbed the only photo in the article! That's right, Midnight Snack! Read the full review here. Fruits of my labor

In the spirit of becoming less dependent on the grocery store and saving a buck I've been growing some berries and peppers in pots on my balcony. Since everything I've ever attempted to grow has died, the success of these plants is thrilling for me. Pretty soon I'll have my very own strawberries for snacking. To celebrate, here are some of my favorite strawberry items!

Etsy Dallas has just announced it's official 2009 roster. They've gone to only allowing 60 members per year so spots were very limited. I'm happy to announce that Midnight Snack made the team. I am so excited to get to participate in the team events this year. The next big thing for Etsy Dallas is it's Spring Bash on May 16th so mark your calendars to come and see all the fantastic vendors this year!

An Etsy Christmas

Welcome back everyone! We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday and are gearing up for an exciting new year! We certainly enjoyed our few weeks off of real life work as well as time off from the store. It's just what we needed to dive into our newest projects. Before we get into our new projects here I'd like to brag on several Etsy sellers who provided some of my favorite Christmas gifts this season.
